POST 2: BEST HOLIDAYS
Approximately
in 2012 I travelled with my mother, grandfather, grandmother and one of my
uncles to Iquique for one week in holydays, and from there visited Arica and
Peru too for one day each one.
In general
we visited in Iquique touristic zones, beaches, vegetable and fish markets, the
"zona franca", this is a one more mall with crime areas, lol. Is a
normal and warm city.
I like
"el morro" of Arica, have two cannons to free touch, steel balls,
some little trenches in the ground, a building in ruins, one Chilean flag and
statue too. Is a large and interesting, mainly for look at the city and the
ocean, maybe the most boring is the museum or souvenir store, i don’t understand,
always is closed.
In this
time Peru was cheap, so change money and we buy clothes and liquor in the
central area, near the "plaza de armas". The food was nice too, but
the ambulant vendors were everywhere.
Is the best
so far because it was fun the family time.
